• Megan Modica is the New Parent Liaison for Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. Tina Soto will be for 2nd and 3rd grade. Amanda Russell will do so for the Middle School.
  • Call to action to join Facebook group from Angela F. We also have an Instagram. Both are private. Google Calendar is kept up to date.
  • Volunteer form is available for people who are interested. It can be found in the Weekly School emails.
  • Lots of leftover bagels for teachers from the first day of school. They were grateful!
  • The Uniform Sale made $557.
  • A Storage unit was acquired for the Parent Guild to house items, equipment, materials, etc. Tina S. & Sarah H. have keys.
  • Unanimous support from the Leads to make Kathy Nelson the new Recording Secretary for the Parent Guild this school year.
  • FUN RUN – Tina S. will be the Lead. She will send out a text to the other Parent Guild Leads to schedule a meeting to lock in details and next steps.
    • October 3rd. Make up day is October 4th.
    • Using 99 Pledges again.
    • Need sponsors for this year. Blank Sponsorship Forms were passed out.
    • Goal per student is $250, which comes with a hoodie if achieved.

    • Tina S. to look into food providers for fruit donations.
  • Community Dinner will be held at end of Fun Run week – Will be a catered Taco Night. Tickets will be sold ahead of time to make sure we do not overbuy food.
  • David H. to apply for Meijer Gift Card again.
  • Dine to Donate will be at Celina’s, Green Lantern, or Buddy’s. David H. and Sarah H. to lock in.
  • MJR Movie Night brought up as a possible fundraiser/event. David H. will look into it.
  • Brittany I. to look into making Canvassing committee for Fun Run and other fundraisers that local businesses can support. David H. to provide her with updated Dine To Donate Form.
  • Budget is on Google Drive for Board Member review. Tina S. to send out main folder.
    • Community Care Closet with feminine products – Would put in Middle School and Elementary School. Angela F. to speak with Ms. Jessica.
    • Middle Schoolers needed to watch kids during Parent Guild Meetings and Events. Could be used as hours or fundraisers. At least 2 needed at a time.
  • Angela F. will send out next Parent Guild Newsletter this week.
  • Event reminders happening through Facebook and Class Liaison.
  • Parent Guild would like to help promote Middle School Events moving forward.
  • The new Superintendent came to 1st day of school. Hooray!
  • Sarah H. to look into making a Scouts group outside of school. Will need Stacie’s approval.
