Attend a Board Meeting

The Parent Guild meets on the first Wednesday of every month. All parents with a student enrolled at Four Corners Montessori Academy are welcome to be a member of the FCMA Parent Guild. There is no application or formal registration process.

Volunteering Opportunities

We have a wide range of ways parents can help out. Some of them include:

Native Garden & Habitat – Regular maintenance of the FCMA natural habitat, certified garden of native Michigan plants.

Green School Committee – Organize endangered animal sponsorship vote January/February. Navigate, document, and maintain the criteria for FCMA’s Green School Status.

Recycling – Organize the parent/student-driven recycling program at FCMA.

Fundraising – Brainstorm ideas for future fundraising, maintain current active and passive fundraising events, such as the Fun Run and the used clothing drive.

Community Building – Brainstorm ideas for future community building, maintain current community building events, such as the school dances and potluck dinners.

Event Volunteering – We organize several annual events and love when we can get volunteers to help us plan OR to be at the event helping create a fun experience for teachers and students.
